La paroisse anglicane de Nerepis & St John couvre un large territoire lequel débute dans la portion ouest de la ville de Saint-Jean et se poursuit le long du fleuve Saint-Jean jusqu'à Wickham et le long de la rivière Nerepis jusqu'à Clarendon. La paroisse a été créée en 1993 alors que les paroisses de Grand Bay, Greenwich, Ketepec et Westfield se sont regroupées.
L'église principale est celle de la Résurrection qui fut consacrée le 19 avril 2009 par le Très Révérend Claude Miller, évêque de Frédériction. Des églises secondaires sont situées à Oak Point (Saint-Paul) et à Wickham (Saint-Pierre).
L'orgue
Cet orgue fut d'abord installé dans l'église épiscopalienne St. James, de Saint-Jean, NB. En 2009, l'instrument a été rénové et transféré à l'église de la Résurrection par Jean-François Mailhot. L'orgue est dans son état original.
The Anglican parish of the Nerepis and St John covers a large geographic area beginning in western part of the City of St John and continuing up the St. John River as far as Wickham and up the Nerepis River to Clarendon. The parish came into being in 1993 when the former parishes of Grand Bay, Greenwich, Ketepec and Westfield came together in an amalgamation.
The primary church is the Church of the Resurrection which was dedicated on April 19th, 2009 by Rt. Rev. Claude Miller, bishop of Fredericton. There are chapels-of-ease in Oak Point (St. Paul's) and Wickham (St. Peter's).
The Organ
This organ was first installed in St. James Episcopal Church, in St. John, NB. In 2009, the instrument was enovated and relocated to Church of the Resurrection by Jean-François Mailhot. The organ is in an unaltered state from its original installation.
